Bank of New England Welcomes Christine Flaherty as Senior Lender and Senior Vice President
Salem, New Hampshire — May 4, 2026 — Bank of New England is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Flaherty as Senior Lender and Senior Vice President. In this role, Christine will be responsible for overseeing and managing all current lending staff and will report directly to Bill Suglia, President.
Christine brings more than 25 years of banking experience to Bank of New England, with a strong track record of leadership and performance across commercial lending and credit management. Prior to joining the Bank, she held key positions at Citizens and Berkshire Bank, where she played an integral role in driving loan growth, strengthening credit quality, and mentoring high-performing teams.
Christine holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University and completed formal credit training at Fleet Bank, providing her with a solid foundation in credit analysis and risk management.
